Retinal Imaging
Having a clear view of the back of the eye is critical to diagnosing eye disorders early on in patients. During an exam at Vanderbilt Optical, you will have access to our OCT machine and retinal camera, allowing us to show you the back of your own eyes during your eye exam! This is much easier than dilating your eyes traditionally, and means no eyedrops, no blurry vision, and no hassle!
Retinal imaging gives patients a much deeper and thorough look into their own eye health. During an eye exam, Dr. Jason Eugenides will explain everything about your own eyes to you, and have your images saved in case you ever come back for a routine visit.
